How do Aurora Hair Extensions
attach to my hair?
The hair is supplied in one length. Each weft is attached using a very fine flexible tape. The hair is taped to your natural hair a little way from the scalp. Hair is attached on top and underneath your hair so it blends naturally.
Do I need to prepare my hair in any way before they are applied?
Your hair must be newly washed in a deep cleansing shampoo (we recommend the Muk range available at The Spa).
Do not apply conditioner after shampooing.
Do not use any styling products, sprays or finishing products.
Your hair must be 100% dry before the extensions are applied
How do I look after my Hair Extensions?
Wash your hair carefully without allowing it to tangle and use conditioner only from the mid length to the tip of your hair and hair extensions. Brush and comb your extensions carefully at all times and use the aftercare products your stylist recommends. At The Spa we recommend Muk hair styling products (available at The Spa) as they do not contain alcohol and heavy softeners that may disturb you extensions when you wash and style your hair.
Please note The Spa cannot guarantee the lasting quality of Aurora Extensions if you choose to use an alternative styling product range or you do not look after your extensions as advised. We ask you to make an appointment 6 weeks from the initial application so we can check your extensions; this takes 15 minutes and is free of charge.
How long do the Extensions last?
Aurora Hair Extensions last up to 3 months when cared for correctly. After this time they can be removed, cleaned, re-taped re-applied and re-styled – this is the beauty of Aurora Hair Extensions – 100% re-cycled! (Re-use will depend on initial styling) A new extension can be added if required and paid for on an individual basis.

Every client has different hair colour, condition and style. For this reason we do not apply hair extensions at The Spa until a client receives a free 15 minute consultation. This is the perfect time to discuss all the options and confirm the final price. Prices supplied here are for the application of the Hair Extensions, depending on your particular requirements. There may be additional cost for styling, blow dry or even application of colour to your own hair prior to the application.
